Here’s my annual holiday album to close out 2025 – a huge milestone year for me in finance and health. And yes, these recordings are all “leftovers” that never made it onto other releases. I had started recording “Wonderful Christmastime” back in 2023, but finally completed it for this release. The live-in-Yakima medley is a holdover from 2019 (when I was on a holiday album “hiatus”). “Go the Distance/Love” was actually recorded for a wedding party processional, but has gone unheard till now. The remaining five tracks are from live-at-home videos that I had released on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube in recent years.
The last of these tracks – “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)” – is a dedication to my friend from church, Manang Grace Mandac Adriano, who passed away a few weeks prior to this release. The “goodnight” (but not farewell) message fits, but also… Manang Grace, I’m sure, thinks it’s clever that “Goodnight, My Angel” matches her initials, G.M.A.
