EPISODE 4.01: NEITHER HERE NOR THERE - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Back in the U.S.S.R." by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Ohhhhhhh
My partner, Robert Danzig, and I chased a man
I caught him, and the chase was through
A see-through man was leaning over Robert's corpse
He fled, now Robert's see-through too

Now I'm working with Fringe Division
Something I never envisioned
Working with Fringe Division

I tracked Olivia to a strange Harvard lab
She said she'd tell the FBI
I threatened to call the New York Times about this place
With a man who can make dead birds fly

Now I'm working with Fringe Division
Something I never envisioned
Working with Fringe Div-
Working with Fringe Div-
Working with Fringe Division

Well, we went to a car accident scene
Nadine Park was the victim
And thanks to my hunch, Liv and I found out
Some girl named Olivia had a photo of a translucent man
Oh, c'mon!

I found Walter in some tank
He was scared
He said that he saw a man in the mirror

Yeah, I'm working with Fringe Division
It's something I never envisioned
Working with Fringe Division

Well, we tracked down the killer, then he burned his files
Olivia shot him dead
I killed a shapeshifter who looked like Robert
I went to thank Olivia for releasing Robert's body

Olivia ushered me into the neutral zone
That's where I saw Fauxlivia
Olivia gave Fauxliv the shapeshifter disk
Their tone was not exactly warm

I'm working with Fringe Division, yeah!
It's something I never envisioned
Working with Fringe Division

Oh, yeah they raised my clearance level!
Oh boy!
Gotta find out about this new form of human shapeshifters!
Walter said he knew some man could not be trusted!
I'm working with Fringe Division, baby!

EPISODE 4.02: ONE NIGHT IN OCTOBER - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Dear Prudence" by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Serial killer on the Other Side
His victims - their brains froze as they died
The alter-Fringe Division
Needs help in catching the culprit, John McClellan
On the Other Side

Olivia and Broyles did respond
Fauxlivia - she made herself blond
The John McClellan from Over Here
Is a professor who studies serial killers
Liv escorted him to the Other Side

He looked around 'round 'round 'round 'round
'Round 'round 'round 'round 'round
He looked around 'round 'round 'round 'round
'Round 'round 'round 'round 'round
He looked around the killer's home

The professor found a photograph
Of his father standing in front of a tractor
He talked about his tendencies
And then he talked about Marjorie
And then he escaped through a bathroom window

The professor thwarted the plans of his double
(Who killed himself with his father's gun)
Potentially saving the lives of many people
He can't remember Marjorie at all
But she left her mark on his soul
An imprint that can never be erased

((Walter, I'm here))
((Can you hear me? I'm right here)
((I'm here, Walter))
((Walter, right here))
((I'm here, Walter, I'm here))
((Walter, I'm here, can you hear me?))
((Please - help me))

EPISODE 4.03: ALONE IN THE WORLD - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Glass Onion" by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

I had a meeting with Dr. Sumner
Who asked about reflections I covered
I told him 'bout my hallucinations
Caused by self-medication

I've been hearing a weird voice, yeah
I see a strange man in reflections
Looking through a glass mirror

And now another case is upon us
The parasitic Cordyceps fungus
Mutated into a neural network
And it made corpses burst

I called the neural network "Gus," yeah
It forged a psychic link with young Aaron
Gus made Aaron act poorly

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah!
Aaron let it go, and Gus died

Confiding in young Aaron was nice
I told him that I lost Peter twice
Then I tried to do self-lobotomy
Olivia stopped me
She shared a drawing of a man in her dreams
The very same man who's been haunting me
Looking through a glass mirror

EPISODE 4.04: SUBJECT 9 - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Liv's asleep, and it's 5:59 a.m.
Energy mass shows up near her bed
Alarm goes off at 6, she wakes and points her gun
Mass dissipates, and it's 5:59 again

Olivia, she sees metal on the floor
Later, Liv and Astrid check it out
Olivia, she shouts, and her bathroom door
Slams shut, as metal flies around

Cortexiphan trials held 25 years ago
When Walter met that astral projection kid
The boy was able to travel outside his body
But metal objects, they were attracted to him

Walter says let's track down Subject 9 now
Gotta track down Subject 9
Put his Matrix idea on hold now
Gotta track down Subject 9, yeah

And perhaps the Cortexi-kids shared psychic links
Perhaps the subject's reaching out to Liv
At least that's what Walter thinks

Olivia sees Nina at Massive Dynamic
Retrieves files regarding Cortexiphan
Turns out that Subject 9 was named Cameron James
She took Walter to see if they could find the man

It's been 3 years since Walter last left the lab
He wants to help track Subject 9
He's not home, so Olivia jimmies the lock
Of the apartment of Subject 9

They find mail addressed to someone named Mark Little
Walter freaks about germs, and he cuts his palms
They leave and get root beer floats

The energy appears there and at Subject 9's place
Cameron James is not the cause of it
Cameron's dad shared his name and used the trust fund for drugs
And that is why he didn't want to share his name

Cameron, he can shatter the energy mass
They all head to a power grid
In the mass, Liv sees a man, and fires her gun overhead
Peter pops up in Reiden Lake

And in the hospital
Olivia asks Peter:
"Who are you?"

EPISODE 4.05: NOVATION - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind
Music composed by Stephan Jenkins
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo

I was transported by guards
To the Federal Building
They escorted me to a holding cell
Novation or weird motivation
Anomaly or paradox, that is me
The DNA tests show I'm Walter's kin
And it's confusing just what I've really been
Keep on waiting for a breakthrough
And I hope somehow I can get through to you
So I spoke to Walter 'bout our universe
Without the alterverse, we would all be cursed
I told him that he built the machine to bridge the two worlds
But Walter said he didn't

I need Walter's help to make some sense of
This alternate timeline, Livie, Livie
No one remembers me
But everything I say is no lie

Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo

So Walter said he crossed over to save me
But he said that I drowned at Reiden Lake
What about that bald Observer?
Did he not pull us out of the lake that night?
I was supposed to die in both universes
But I didn't, so I had to be deleted
But if I'm dead, then how am I here?
I grabbed Walter's wrist, but he fled
I hacked the cell intercom
Heard them talking about new shapeshifter tech
I said they are memory disks
I'm sure . . . I can . . . help!

I need Walter's help to make some sense of
This alternate timeline, Livie, Livie
No one remembers me
But everything I say is no lie

The new shapeshifters can switch between
Every identity they've ever been in the past
Every strand of a victim's DNA
Can be replicated by them
Oh, their disks broadcast coordinates
We started tracking the one posing as Nadine Park

And I need Walter's help
To make some sense of this timeline
Livie, I mean nothing to you
But you mean the world to me
That's no lie, no lie, no lie
No lie

Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo

Walter held my face and told me always imagined
Just what his son would look like as a man
But he thinks I was sent here to tempt him
To see if he'd repeat mistakes of his past

Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo

I need Walter's help

EPISODE 4.06: AND THOSE WE'VE LEFT BEHIND - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Marry the Night" by Lady Gaga
Music composed by Stefani Germanotta & Fernando Garibay
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

I'm gonna fix up my wife
I won't give up on her life
I'm an electrical engineer
Making a basement time chamber

'Cause I am hoping I found
A functional work-around
To Alzheimer's Disease
I just need her complete equation

I'm gonna fix up my wife
Gonna fix up my wife
Gonna bring back my wife

I'm gonna fix up my wife
In here, it is still 2007
I'm gonna fix up my wife
Outside it is 2011

Fa-fa-fa-fix up, fa-fa-fa-fix up
Fa-fa-fa-fix up my wife
Oh, fa-fa-fix up, fa-fa-fa-fix up
Fa-fa-fa-fix up my wife

There are some agents outside
So I show my wife the device
I smack some dude in the head
Who is wearing a Faraday harness

And when we he wakes up, he says
That an agent is dead
And there's a tunnel out there
That could soon disappear, killing people

I'm gonna fix up my wife
Gonna fix up my wife

I'm gonna fix up my wife
I won't give up on trying to save her
I'm gonna fix up my wife
This is my only way to repay her

Fa-fa-fa-fix up, fa-fa-fa-fix up
Fa-fa-fa-fix up my wife
Oh, fa-fa-fix up, fa-fa-fa-fix up
Fa-fa-fa-fix up my wife

She says time displacement causes repercussions
And that's the reason she wants to shut it down
She says there's no way that I could have known
So she demands immunity for me
I can't go on without you
I don't want this for us
They'll take this chamber away
I thought we'd have more time

Sweetheart, I can do it again
Sweetheart, I can build it again

But then you crossed out all your equations
And then you left me a note
That said that how I repay you
Is just love you, and live my life

No, no, I hate this
No, no, I hate this
I hate Alzheimer's disease
No, no, I hate this
No, no, I hate this
I hate Alzheimer's disease

EPISODE 4.07: WALLFLOWER - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Mamma Mia" by ABBA
Music composed by Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus
& Stig Anderson
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Liv bought pills late at night at a pharmacy
She walked by a diner and saw Lincoln Lee
Liv said that she had a migraine
And that is why she had to walk to get some fresh air
Lincoln said the coffee is good there
He was freaked out and listened to Olivia's advice
She said eventually it will become his life

Ooooh, Ooooh
In the meantime, up on Beacon Hill
Jack was attacked by an invisible entity
Cops arrived, and saw his corpse had turned snow white
Officer Grant fired his gun repeatedly
Grant said he had felt something
He shared this to Olivia and Lincoln Lee
He was hesitant to say it was a ghost
Astrid said if she had never seen a shrink
Her head would have exploded a long time ago

In a secret lab tank, an outline was shimmering
(It was shimmering, baby!)
Slowly turned into a man who was named Eugene
(That's short for "Unknown GENEtic disorder")
Some time later
In the building's elevator
He almost spoke to a fine woman
He didn't, but an another man did
The man and woman left Eugene there
Where he vanished "into the thin air"

Ooooh, Ooooh
In the meantime, at the Harvard lab
Some mucus on Jack's body, Walter found
They're chromatophores that can translocate pigment
Allowing them to blend into their backgrounds
Astrid took the blood and traced the DNA
To Baby Boy Bryant who lived only 4 days
They thought he died of a genetic abnormality

Nina told them 'bout the experiment
Walter said Eugene's trying to reverse this
Then Olivia confronted Eugene (blue man!)
He somehow escaped just as Lincoln arrived
Eugene spoke to to the fine elevator woman
She smiled and left, and soon Eugene was dead
Liv invited Lincoln to the diner
Lincoln put on glasses Peter gave him

But Nina went to Liv's place with two masked men
They knocked Liv out with seeping gas
They injected Liv with Cortexiphan
Nina, Nina
Will we ever know
My! My! Are you friend, or are you foe?

EPISODE 4.08: BACK TO WHERE YOU'VE NEVER BEEN
- The Fringemunks
Parody Medley of R.E.M. Songs:
o "We All Go Back to Where We Belong" - music composed by
Peter Buck, Mike Mills & Michael Stipe
o "Fall on Me" - music composed by Bill Berry, Peter Buck,
           Mike Mills & Michael Stipe
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

I've dreamt for years that I would see
You standing here in front of me
You're exactly how I thought you'd be
You say that you are not my son
The one in '85 I lost
I know - there's no need to convince me

You're the only person I can trust
You have no alliances

You made your way to my residence
And chatted with Elizabeth
She made sure you were safely transported here

You're the one in whom I can confide
You have no allegiance to either side

You want to go back to where you belong
You want to go back to where you belong
This is really what you want
This is really what you want
__________________________________________________

You crossed here with the Other Side's Lincoln Lee
Arrived at Island Liberty
Agent Murphy shot his partner, and tried to shoot you

You escaped eventually
I need you to cross back, and tell them, please:
There's no fault in me (I'm not the man behind the shapeshifters)
Fault in me (I am not their enemy)
Fault in me (Please tell them not to blame me)

Your opinion of me is very ill
You thought I tried to have you killed
But I need you to know not everything is as it seems

You say that this is not your fight
But please cross back and tell the Other Side
There's no fault in me (I'm not the man behind the shapeshifters)
Fault in me (I am not their enemy)
Fault in me (Please tell them not to blame me)
There's no fault in me

Well, I zapped the shapeshifter
Who is posing as Dr. Fayette
And whoever their leader is
To us all, he's a threat

The machine, you say I'll understand
For you, I'm willing to lend a hand
But please cross back, and tell them that
There's no fault in me (I'm not the one running the shapeshifters)
Fault in me (I am not their enemy)
Fault in me (Please tell them not to blame me)
No fault in me
No fault in me (I'm not the one running the shapeshifters)
Fault in me (I am not their enemy)
Fault in me (Please tell them not to blame me)

EPISODE 4.09: ENEMY OF MY ENEMY - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Mr. Know It All" by Kelly Clarkson
Music composed by Brian Seals, Ester Dean, Brett James & Dante Jones
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Sha la la la la la la la, yeah. Mmm. Uh huh.

David Robert Jones
The call from Murphy's phone
Traced to your warehouse zone
And they found you alone
With a lady shapeshifter - 1 of 47
You killed the lady shapeshifter, and then
You said, "Take me to your leader" - yeah

David Robert Jones
You're scarred down to the bone
Death you somehow postponed
And by your nervous tone
I can tell I'm a variable you didn't plan for
You don't know me, but I've met you before
Alter-Lincoln gave you tea to swallow

In my timeline, I sliced you, sliced you
In this timeline, you made it through, made it through
But David, you don't know a thing about me
You don't know a thing about me
I remember the last time I saw you
Falling apart, and they had to wrap you
So you wouldn't turn into a puddle
Yeah, David, you don't know a thing about me
You don't know a thing about me

David Robert Jones
A lady called on the phone
We heard deaths in an E.R. zone
So we had to let you go
'Cause we wanted to avoid more casualties
Hundred-dollar bills in Manhatan, you gave away
With the same frequency as your signal - yeah, yeah

David Robert Jones
You were at the Mohonk Quarry zone
You crossed to the other side alone
'Cause you're searching for limestone
'Cause underneath you'll find Amphylicite
It becomes a power source if you process it right
I'm afraid you may know how to weaponize it

In my timeline, I sliced you, sliced you
In this timeline, you made it through, made it through
But David, you don't know a thing about me
You don't know a thing about me
Walternate and both Olivias
And both Broyleses and both Lincolns and me
We'll work together as a team
David, you don't know a thing about me
You don't know a thing about me

You think you've got both alterworlds at your feet
And you know everything about everything
But you don't - somewhere, we stopped you before
And we can stop you again, yeah!

Elizabeth, she crossed over, over
She had a talk with Walter, Walter
She convinced Walter to help me
Walter told me he will help me
(In my timeline, I sliced you, sliced you)
I was very surprised to learn that
Walternate is not the man I thought he was, but ...
(In this timeline, you made it through, made it through)
... I'm not surprised to learn Walter is
Walter asked me if that is a good thing
I said yes, that is a very good thing

David Robert Jones
You're chilling to the bone
Your location is unknown
But David, you don't know a thing about me
You don't know a thing about me

EPISODE 4.10: FORCED PERSPECTIVE - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera
Music composed by Adam Levine, Benny Blanco, Ammar Malik
& Shellback
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Oh! Oh!

I chatted with Broyles 'bout the bald dude
Who has antibodies for the Spanish Flu
The flu was last seen in 1919
How old he must be!

Broyles assigned me more security
Once he found out this info from me:
The bald dude told me
In all futures he sees
I will be deceased

The new case goes like this:

A teen girl named Emily Mallum
She sees deaths before they happen
With that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
Reverse-ripple premonition
Hears a hum then she draws her vision
With that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective

Until now, I believed in fate never
But given this case, I am not sure
Saw Emily and
A death drawing in hand
Prevent it, perhaps we can

Oh! Emily's brain, Walter did probe
The theta-one waves in her occipital lobe
Are very active
And her brain's oxygen
Is elevated
Oh, yeah, yeah!

And it goes like this:

It's tough for the Mallum Family
They move around due to Emily
And her forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
Reverse-ripple premonition
Perhaps God gave her a mission
With that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective

Then Emily's dad
He got real mad
No matter where they've hid
Shady people get up in their biz
All to expose their secret
All to Massive Dynamic
But soon in us, he trusted

We traced her drawing then
To Albert Duncan
Emily is hypnotized
Ooooh - then she saw bodies fly
She saw a sign in Latin - it reads:
DEI JUDICIUM FIAT JUSTITIA
Which meant: "By God's judgement, let justice be done"

We traced Duncan to a courthouse
We knew he had a bomb
Thanks to Emily's forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
She's got that forced perspective
Duncan surrendered to us, but
Emily died, overloaded
With that forced perspective
Killed by the forced perspective
Killed by the forced perspective

EPISODE 4.11: MAKING ANGELS - The Fringemunks
Parody of "We Are Young" by fun. feat. Janelle Monae
Music composed by Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, Jack Antonoff,
Matthias Bell & Samuel Means
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Give me a second
I . . . I need to get your story straight
Your father died and so
You crossed to here in a confused state
You have a high security clearance as a senior agent, so
The park you were at was cold
And you didn't know where else to go, yeah
I heard about you through Olivia
It's nice to meet you personally in the flesh
So here's some coffee that I brewed
It's rare back on your side, it's true
You're making me reflect a bit
So after the time the case closes
I'll travel back on home
And say hi to my dad

Tonight
We are Astrid
Even though you have Asperger's
You were a good daughter
Full of love

Tonight
We are Astrid
We shouldn't regret that we could have
Been more for our dads
'Cause it wasn't us

There's a killer with a glowing blue rod
His victims have tears of blood
And that reminds Walter Bishop
Of the mythical Tears of Ra
The poison's compounds
They interact somehow
It's not magic, but unusual science

Tonight
We are Astrid
Even though you have Asperger's
You were a good daughter
Full of love

Tonight
We are Astrid
You should know I think you're brilliant
One in a million
Gifted one, you are

The killer, Neil, is a TSA screener
Who works at Logan Airport
He thinks he saves his victims
From living lives of agony
He thinks he's doing good deeds
He'd been a prof at MIT
He became obsessed with high-level
Differential equations

(I'm going back home tonight)
(I'm going back home tonight)
(I'm going back home tonight)
(I'm going back home tonight)

If Neil solved them, he would see his
Past, present and future
His house is at Reiden Lake
When his bro died, his mom said
That God had took the wrong one
The priest said angels don't belong on earth
Neil told his mom see you in heaven
Olivia killed him

(Fauxlivia crossed to this side)
(Walter was still mad at her)
(He returned a metal cube he thought was used to spy)
(But it really hold Bobbins)
(They almost taste like mints)
(Then he gave her a Red Vine)
(Perhaps he likes her after all)

Tonight
We are Astrid
Even though you have Asperger's
You were a good daughter
Full of love

Tonight
We are Astrid
So you think that you're too formal
You think that I'm normal
But I'm not

So after the time the case closes
I'll hug my dad at home
We'll say we love each other tonight

EPISODE 4.12: WELCOME TO WESTFIELD - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Drive By" by Train
Music composed by Pat Monahan, Espen Lind & Amund Bjorklund
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Walter and I made a breakthrough
With the machine, then I called you
You seemed a bit weirded-out
Are you OK?
Walter made a cocktail for breakfast
It's called "hot cinnamon roll" and
We'd like to test the machine's
Biomech interface

On a dark highway
In south Vermont State
Cars lost their power
A plane crashed near there
The cars restarted
They had magnetic
Residual force afterwards

We left the highway site
Walter had an appetite
He had seen a sign for homemade rhubarb pie
Drove to Westfield town
Not too many hangin' 'round
And the diner we found with pie-pie-pie-pie-pie-pie
I went to use the can
Then I found an injured man
The dude behind the counter
Tried to stab Walter
Liv killed the counterman
Who Walter noticed had
Double irises in his eye-eye-eye-eye-eye-eye-eyes!

Cliff Hayes was the injured person
He needed a blood transfusion
We couldn't call 9-1-1
'Cause all the phones were dead
Our SUV was hospital-bound
But each time we left the town
Back into Westfield we wound up
Walter said we're trapped

Cliff then expounded
On how the town went bad
People went psycho
Just three days ago
The unaffected handful
Were at the high school
Including Cliff's own daughter and wife too

It was surprising
When Liv said to me
This reminds her of the case in Ed-i-ina
Her arm got shaky
And she felt dizzy
Walter ran some tests but she was fi-i-i-i-i-i-ine
She asked about my Liv
And I shared 'bout our Friday Damiano's dinners
And watching cheesy horror films
Oh, and we figured out
The people of this town
Were merging with their doubles
And effects cannot be reversed

We did proceed
To the center of the merger indeed
Like the eye of a hurricane
We were safe and clear
And, except for the epicenter,
Westfield disappeared

Amphilicite was found
On the perimeter of this town
Looks like the work of Mr. Jones
What's he up to? We don't know...

Went to see Olivia
Just to see how she was
She said she didn't mind
And poured me wi-i-i-ine
Took a whiff quick
I asked what smells fantastic
It was Friday so she had ordered Damia-a-a-no's
Then she kissed me
And that really startled me
I backed up in disbelief and said "W-whoa. Olivia."
Unexpected
A million things ran through my head
Liv is into me
And I am wondering why-y-y-y

EPISODE 4.13: A BETTER HUMAN BEING - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Settle Down" by No Doubt
Music composed by Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal & Tom Dumont
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

I'm fine

Hey hey hey - I remember everything
Hey, hey-hey
Hey - I remember everything

I'm sitting (here with Peter)
I'm giddy (here with Peter)
After my surprising kiss
He asked me to be straight with him
He thinks that (Peter, Peter)
I'm acting strange (Peter, Peter)
Westfield may still have effects on me
He wants Walter to check on me

I'm fine (as all these flashbacks go down)
The kiss just felt like that's what we would do
Oh, I'm fine (as all these flashbacks go down)
It's kind of complicated, that's for sure

So run that brain scan on me
Or blame it on empathy
But my memories have all returned
My non-Peter timeline seems
Like a hazy old dream
I'm being honest
My memories have all returned

Hey hey hey - I remember everything
Hey, hey-hey
Hey - I remember everything

Three young men (here's the new case)
Killed Daniel Greene (here's the new case)
Greene had been a journalist
Writing a piece on IVF

Miles away (in a mental ward)
In Deerfield, Mass. (in a mental ward)
Sean Keenan pantomimed the crime
He heard 3 voices in his mind

Hive mind (no, Sean is not schizophrenic)
Sean recalled that one of them was cut
Oh, hive mind (no, Sean is not schizophrenic)
Paper towels were found with some blood

The DNA strands of Sean
And the suspect with blood
Have the same chromosomal spur
And their abnormality
It can only mean one thing
Sean and that one bloody suspect
Are half-brothers

Hey hey hey - they only share one parent
Hey - they only share one parent

Sean's mother said he was conceived
Through in vitro fertilization means
She did not know the sperm donor
But Owen Frank was her doctor
So Dr. Frank we went to see
Who said Greene met him recently
And another writer was killed before

He mixed DNA from humans
With other species to attempt
To make a better human being
The files were all in storage
There are 200 subjects
From the same sperm donor
Their father is Dr. Frank
Their father is Dr. Frank
Their father is Dr. Frank
Sean tipped off the one who tried
To kill us at the storage space

Hey hey hey - they still killed Dr. Frank
(Frank, Frank, Frank)
Hey - they still killed Dr. Frank

Hey hey hey - all to protect the hive
(They burned the records)
Hey - all to protect the hive
(They killed their father)

Hey hey hey - Sean stopped hearing the voices
Hey - Sean stopped hearing the voices

200 subjects? (Yeah?)
200 sperm donations? (Yeah?)
Dayamn - that's a Frank bank!
(Dayamn!)

Hey - a better human being

Turns out Walter had a theory
That Peter was projecting memories to me
I mentioned to Peter, near the storage room
A memory 'bout Semtex, out of the blue
But it's a memory Peter never knew
So Walter's theory cannot be true
Later, Peter told me in the car
This is all he's been thinking of, by far
He doesn't want to make the same mistake
Of betraying me again - so he's afraid
But he looks into my eyes and he can see
He knows it's me, he knows it's me
We kissed enthusiastically
And then I said, "I gotta go pee"
The next thing I know, my arms were tied
And so were Nina's - she said we would be alright

EPISODE 4.14: THE END OF ALL THINGS - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day
Music composed by Billie Joe Armstrong & Green Day
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Where is Olivia?
She disappeared and I have got the blues
Lincoln went with me
To her place to check it out for clues

I checked a smoke alarm
Inside there was a spy camera
With a backup memory disk
That stores images, looping every hour

This memory disk was the key
Leave it to Walter and me

Broyles and Lincoln gave Nina interrogation
At Harvard, Walter warned me 'bout temptation
He said despite Olivia's consciousness manifestation
She's not who I think she is

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah

We analyzed the disk
For a palimpsest from layers below
Then a face we saw:
Leland Spivey, who died three years ago

Jones must be trying to
Activate Olivia again
But what's the reason why?
Maybe it is for the same reasons

The exact reasons were never clear
Then the Observer appeared

The Observer's gunshot wound caught our attention
I asked him what he knows about Jones's intentions
The status of Olivia, I was sure to question
He told me that she needs me

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah

The Observer collapsed, clearly in danger of losing his life
Broyles revealed what the Observer told Liv in a recent time
Specifically that she would die in every timeline
I went inside the Observer's mind
__________________________________________________

From a clear glass observation case
I saw the Big Bang replay in space
I asked the Observer just how he was shot
But the relevant question, he said this was not

I asked who he is, and from where he came
He told me that "September" is his code name
He is a scientist from the future, you see
They can travel through time with their technology

He's been attempting to rectify his mistake
That's why he saved me from drowning in Reiden Lake
But the more he tried to make all things fine
It only further corrupted the desired timeline

The war between universes changed destiny
And brought about a child that was not meant to be
"What child?" I asked inquisitively
Then September told me about my son Henry ...

... who no longer exists, since I stepped into the machine
And my existence should have ceased as well, so it seems
But I had managed to return to a physical me
September says Olivia is the one with whom I must be

If she and I are together, our future path will return
Suddenly, he said "They are coming" with a look of concern
I asked where Olivia is, in an urgent tone
He said that to find out, I have only to go home
__________________________________________________

I woke up in the lab
September vanished into thin air
I went back to my house
I was captured by Leland Spivey there

Soon I was in the place
Where Jones and Liv and alter-Nina were
And that wooden box
With all those lightbulbs was familiar

Liv somehow turned on all the bulbs, we were aware
Then Liv caused electrical bolts to be flying everywhere
Jones and alter-Nina fled, while Leland Spivey fried there
Liv had a brief seizure!

We found Jones, right before Alter-Nina disappeared
through a portal. Olivia shot him in the throat. But he
was fine. He said there are some fringe benefits to
having one's body reassembled on an atomic level.
He escaped through the portal. I helped Olivia outside
I told her it was a mistake to believe she was my Olivia.
It started to rain. Olivia asked me where I was going.
I told her, "I have to go home."

EPISODE 4.15: A SHORT STORY ABOUT LOVE - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Happy Together" by The Turtles
Music composed by Garry Bonner & Alan Gordon
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

You said to Nina you're in love with me
And how your memories from this timeline decayed
You always have breakfast with her on Saturdays
But you don't remember

Teddy bear camera, Walter did buy
It filmed the incident with me and the bald guy
Slow mo showed Observers took him
And a flash of light flowed to my eye from September

I was on my way to New York
To stay away from Liv, per Walter's request
Walter called me to stop me and said
That returning to the lab would be best

At the lab, I spoke in Greek
A black disk on my eye we found - we took a peek
It said: "228 1/2 Morrow Street"
It's September's address

Meanwhile there was a Fringe case
A badly scarred man, Anson Carr, he found couples
He cooked the men to extract all their pheromones
To seduce their women

You caught Carr, and then he told you
He can smell that you're in love
And poor Lincoln Lee
He knows that it's not him you're dreamin' of

Meanwhile at September's place
I found a bunch of his gadgets in his briefcase
His compass led me to the woods, and in that place
Up came the cylinder

I activated the beacon at my house
I ran upstairs and saw September, who thanked me
The other Observers had hid the universe from him
But now he has returned

I asked him to help me get home
But he says I've been home all along
There's no scientific explanation
But he says I'm back because of love

I couldn't be fully erased
Those who cared about me, they would not let me go
And those I cared about, I would not let them go
And then September ((oo-oo-oo-oo))
Said you're my Olivia ((oo-oo-oo-oo))
The house started to stir ((Episode 4.15))
No more sight of September ((A Short Story About Love))
Gone was the cylinder ((A Short Story About Love))
Outside your place later ((A Short Story About Love))
I saw you, Olivia ((A Short Story About Love))
We embraced each other ((A Short Story About Love))
I kissed you, Olivia ((A Short Story About Love))

EPISODE 4.16: NOTHING AS IT SEEMS - The Fringemunks
Parody medley of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" & "Rocket Man" by Elton John
Music composed by Elton John & Bernie Taupin
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

VertusAir Flight 718
Marshall Bowman's nose starts to bleed
He swabs his mouth in the lavatory
And then he starts to freak
'Cause when he dabs the swab in the vial
The liquid turns to red
__________________________________________________

They checked his bags for knives, post-flight
They found weird drugs and syringes too
No need to ask for permission ever since Bush Two

Flight 718 crashed in my timeline
But it landed safely in this one
Now we have the airport surveillance footage

Well this is another Fringe Division case
Bowman killed investigators in that place
He's not the man that he had been before
Oh, no no no
He's a porcu-man
Porcu-man
Oh you know his quills are very long

Yeah this is another Fringe Division case
We checked out the Bowman corpse in that place
He's not the man that he had been before
Ah, no no no
He's a porcu-man
Porcu-man
Oh his corpse's stench is very strong

Olivia's out on leave, for her mental state
And Lincoln's pissed at me
But he knows she's my Olivia

Walter gave me a backlog of birthday gifts
And that meant the world to me
I hugged my dad, I hugged my dad

Yeah this is a crazy Fringe Division case
I had questioned Bowman's sister face to face
In my timeline, Bowman's colleague, Conrad,
was infected
But he died 5 years ago
Porcu-man
The corpse's arm tattoo is cuneiform

Liv broke protocol, and met us at Daniel Hicks's place
We found some bags marked "Medical Waste"
A creature threw Lincoln against a wall
Ah, no no no
Another porcu-man
This Porcu-man
Oh he left a scratch on poor Lincoln
Liv and I went to visit Ed Markham

Ed said the tattoo's of a cult obsessed with mutation
Walter checked out Lincoln Lee for infection
And gave him sandwiches with PB and bacon
We were led to Massive Dynamic by a palindrome
Nina says the project was run by Mr. Jones
Lincoln can't get enough of Walter's bacon
Walter deduced the medical waste was fat from liposuction
Which would give energy for transformation
Drugs did stop the transformation of Lincoln
We saw the computer model of the evolution
Which showed the creatures may have wings on them
In a clinic the creature was killed by Lincoln
I shot the sister of Bowman
She had been all this time the creature's companion
Perhaps Jones has a God complex goin' on
Maybe Jones wants to take control of the situation
Broyles reinstated Liv back into Fringe Division

EPISODE 4.17: EVERYTHING IN ITS RIGHT PLACE - The Fringemunks

((where do I belong))

((where do I belong))
((where))

Everything, everything, everything, everything . . .
In its right place
In its right place
In its right place
Right place

The others are taking Gene the Cow to Grazing Day
Liv returned my Danzig tether with the maze
Astrid wants to spend time with her dad today
I'll cross over with case dockets, that is OK

Everything, everything, everything . . .
In its right place
In its right place
Right place
Right place

((gene the cow, what the heck))

I told Broyles that, frankly, I could use the time away
I agreed to help with the other side's case
Alter-me was mad I told Fauxlivia our middle name
The backgrounds of alter-me and me were quite the same
(We grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey)
Quite the same
(Our dads moved us to Philadelphia)
Quite the same
(3.85 GPA in high school)
Quite the same
(Skipped prom after breaking up with Alicia)
Quite the same
(At some point, our paths diverged)
Quite the same
(He became the man he wanted to be)
Quite the same

((what does this say about me))
((I can be the assertive man I want to be))
((confident))
((confident))
((confident))
((bordering on self-aggrandizing narcissism))

The case involved a vigilante shapeshifter
who called himself Canaan.
He was created by Jones, but cast aside,
and now he feels rejected.
We escorted Canaan to HQ,
but a sniper tried to kill him.
The sniper shot my alter-self instead.
Canaan agreed to help us.
He shapeshifted into the sniper's appearance
to infiltrate a facility.
It was there that we captured the other side's Nina,
and found shapeshifter tracking equipment.

My alter-self did not make it.
He passed away.
Fauxlivia is devastated.
I took Canaan to the Bridge
to meet Walter and Peter,
who will help study him and fix him.
((I gave him my tether!))
I went back to the other side to comfort Fauxlivia
and help her sort through the data from evil Nina's facility.

EPISODE 4.18: THE CONSULTANT - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke feat. T.I. and Pharrell
Music composed by Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams & Clifford Harris, Jr.
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

It's a perfect G!
It's a perfect G!
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Check it out!

Three people who were from my side
They rose in the air at the same time
Killed as they dropped and smashed
Each body marked and lashed
As if it was a plane cra-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ash

Turns out their doppelgangers
On the other side
Died in a plane crash
At the exact same time
Crossed over and I saw you
I said something rude
Called you a prostitute

But Fauxlivia
You're a good girl
I once denied it
I once denied it
I once denied it
You're a good girl
I wanted to bring you
A casserole yeah
To help you grieve yeah
There are blurred lines
Between alt-verses
Between alt-verses
Between alt-verses
You're a good girl
You had some drinks now
You're getting sick now
I'll cook some eggs now

Here's a hand that's severed
Frequency we'll measure
A corpse as well, and we heard
Both resonate at perfect G!
They're synchronized
They're from different sides
This destabilized
The a-a-a-a-a-airplane

Must have been a device
Attached to the airplane
A woman from my side
She did asphyxiate
Her doppelganger
Drowned in a river
A device is with her
With amphilicite

Fauxlivia
You're a good girl
I once denied it
I once denied it
I once denied it
You're a good girl
I wanted to bring you
A casserole yeah
To help you grieve yeah
There are blurred lines
Between alt-verses - yours and mine
Between alt-verses - yours and mine
Between alt-verses
And you're a good girl
You had some drinks now
You're getting sick now
I'll cook some eggs now

Yo, tonight I said to you
The other Liv has trouble sleeping too
I saw a drink in front of you
Lincoln's murder case, you're searching through
You think there's a mole among the team
Who tipped Jones off about your scheme
You still have Lincoln's clothes
I mean, it's almost unbearable
I suggest you sleep on it
Our brains our remarkable instruments
They can process all this evidence
Even in the times we are not conscious
There's a dog that did not bark
No evidence, is evidence stark
Hey! Even Broyles shouldn't be above suspicion
Frankly, I'm still upset about Nixon!

Get some sleep
Settle down
In morning, get up-a!
Your Nina did blert!
Uh, she did blert!
Because you tricked her!
He-e-e-e-e-ey!

Your Broyles was the mole all this time, yeah
Because his son needs his life-saving meds
And Jones provides it
Jones does supply it
Broyles tried to hide it

And now I know that
You're a good girl
And my side's Lincoln
He will help you
He will comfort you
You're a good girl
Your Broyles surrendered
In the Bridge hangar
To his doppelganger
There are blurred lines
But please don't judge him
He loved his son and
I understand him
You're a good girl
So is your universe
Please keep an eye on it
I've grown quite fond of it

Oh no - if Broyles had uploaded
that device into the machine
Hey, Hey, Hey
Jones could ...
Hey, Hey, Hey
... collapse both ...
Hey, Hey, Hey
... universes ...

EPISODE 4.20: WORLDS APART
Parody of "The Way" by Fastball
Music composed by Tony Scalzo
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

They made up their minds
To shut the Machine down
The link between both worlds, they'll have to break
And this may cause eternal separation
But closing the Bridge is the only way to stop the quakes

The quakes, they were caused
By synchronization
Jones was using Sally Clark and Nick Lane
Who connected to their corresponding doubles
And they were at the epicenters of the quakes

So they caught one of the Nick Lanes, who had a watch that
Counted down the time until the collapse
Nick projected dark emotions on his handler to get away
The Fringe team knew they had full support from Washington
And unless there is an alternative
They must close the Bridge - yeah, that's what they said today, today

Then both Walter Bishops
They got to talking
If the Machine's turned off, Peter could disapparate
25 years ago, Walter could not have made this decision
((Leave the alt-world behind))
But closing the Bridge is the only way to stop the quakes

Walternate could see that Walter had grown so much, and then
He quoted Marcus Aurelius
Who survived a war, then worked for his people's gain
Walternate then said that perhaps both of them also can
On Walter's right arm, he placed his hand
Walter said "We'll see" - yeah, that's what they said today, today

Lincoln chose to stay with Fauxlivia on the other side
Both sides had time to say their goodbyes
Olivia told her double: keep looking up after it rains
They overloaded the Machine, and the Bridge was gone
Walter remarked he thinks he shall miss them more than he imagined
But thank God Peter remains, remains

((Leave the alt-world behind))

EPISODE 4.21: BRAVE NEW WORLD, PART 1 - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Hey Jude" by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

Hey Liv
You cut your hand
Let me clamp it
And make it better
That's what happens
When you drink and mince with a blade
So here's some first-aid
To make it better

Hey Liv
Jessica Holt
You've been thinkin' 'bout
Just how you saved her
That woman survived that weird nanite case
And she almost blazed
But you made her better

Her temperature spiked in the Harvard lab
You took her hand
Somehow we lost electrical power
Eventually the power came back
We discovered that
Jessica Holt's body was colder

Dun-na-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham

Hey Liv
Cortexiphan
That's the reason you made her better
(This is your ability, hey Liv)
You slowed her molecules down, it's true
Attribute that to
Your kinetic power

So this is your ability
Hey Liv, trust me
We'll figure this out together, I swear to you
Yeah, that's a personal guarantee
Hey Liv, kiss me
After all we've been through, I will not lose you again

Dun-na-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Yeah

Hey Liv
You cut your hand
Let me clamp it
And make it better
This minute, let's keep our worries at bay (oh!)
And maybe someday
We'll live in a
Brave new
Brave new
Brave new
Brave new
Brave new
Brave new world!
Yeah!

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

(Olivi-, -livi-, -livi-, -livi-, -livia!! Wow!)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(We saw video)
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(Of David Robert Jones sabotaging an escalator)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(with the nanites, yeah)
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(We know Jones couldn't make them)
(Walter says William Bell can make them)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(Walter says Bell is alive)
Dun-na-na-nham
(It's the work of a master, not imposter)
Hey Liv
(We visited St. Claire's and Dr. Benlo)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(Saw the logbook there)
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(It shows no trace of William Bell)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(A light light light light light beam
burned through a building)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(David Robert Jones is reflecting sunlight off something,
like one of those disco balls)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(And focusing it like a magnifying glass)
Dun-na-na-nham
(Like antennae)
Hey Liv
(They're situated on adjacent rooftops
so you and I each took a building - wooo!)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(We turned off the beam)
Dun-na-na-nham
(Jones attacked me with a crowbar)
Hey Liv
(You remote-controlled me to knock Jones into the antenna!)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(Jones said he got it wrong)
Dun-na-na-nham
(He says HE was the sacrifice and the bishop)
Hey Liv
(He fried, and half his body fell away)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(Walter traced almond oil from the logbook)
Dun-na-na-nham
(logbook to A-1 Imports)
Hey Liv
(Walter and Astrid went there to find Bell
but then Astrid was shot in the chest!)

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
(William Bell was there, after all!)
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv
(Bell said: "What a wonderful surprise! Hello, old friend.")

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

Dun-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Dun-na-na-nham
Hey Liv

EPISODE 4.22: BRAVE NEW WORLD, PART 2 - The Fringemunks
Parody of "Revolution" by The Beatles
Music composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Parody Lyrics, All Instruments and Production by David Wu

On the Talos freighter out on the ocean
Belly, you showed
A hologram of your new world
You said the final piece was in motion
Belly, you know
You bragged about your brave new world
But if you're talkin' 'bout destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out?

As for Astrid, who was shot:
She's alright
Alright
Alright

At the warehouse, they saw Jessica Holt, but
She held them at gunpoint
She works for you - oh, what the heck?
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
September - he was trapped on her
Hexagonal floor piece with stasis runes
Jessica shot him with your tech
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
But soon her bullets, they were caught by Liv
Who flung them back at Jessica - she's dead!

Peter scratched the runes to free
September
Now we know how he was shot
September
But this hasn't happened yet for him
September
He disappeared to investigate!

Nina Sharp provided tech so we could
Question Jessica
Despite the fact that she was dead
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
You have your own Noah's Ark
And Liv can collapse both universes
That's what dead Jessica said
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
You said the concept was initially mine
Cancer convinced you that I was right

You said it's our destiny
To be Gods
You said that's how we should be
Be Gods
You said while I've always been playing God
You Are

Pete and Liv burst into the Talos
Before you know
I shot Olivia in the head
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
The vortex disappeared, and the collapse stopped
You rang your bell
You disappeared into thin air
(Shoo-bee-doo-wah, oh, shoo-bee-doo-wah)
Peter was sobbing, but I slapped him
I reminded him about Liv's Cortexiphan

Don't you know she's gonna be
Alright
We knocked the bullet out
In time
Don't you know she's gonna be
Alright

Alright! (Peter showed a house ad)
Alright! (They deserve a bit of normal)
Alright! (Good, because it turns out)
Alright! (Olivia is pregnant)
Alright! (September later told me)
Alright! (We have to warn the others)
Alright! (They are coming)
ALRIGHT!!!
